    We are seeking a Payroll Administrator/Senior Payroll Administrator within the team who will provide
    support to the Group Payroll Manager to ensure the smooth operation of payroll, whilst administering
    the payroll process for EMEA and US regions. This role ensures that all regulatory and legal
    requirements are met and all employees and pensioners are paid on time. This is an excellent

    How you will contribute:

    • Responsible for the day to day administration of the two UK payrolls, (employees and
      pensioners), working with the Group Payroll Team and HR to ensure timely and accurate
      payment to employees/pensioners using ADP IHCM
    • Process the US payroll, to include
      o Working closely with HR to validate any information regarding new hires,
      terminations of employment, enrolment and payroll changes for active employees
      o Input data
      o Ensures that all employee earnings and deductions, at point of final calculation, are
      accurate and are made in compliance with payroll tax and legal requirements 
      o Reconciliation of the 401K funding
      o Respond to employees’ questions about their pay checks
      o Post payroll reporting and payments
      o Quarter and Year End
    • Organisation of other EMEA payrolls to include preparing payroll data for external providers
      Responsible for the administration of the Expatriate payroll
    • Maintain payroll inbox responding to all queries in a timely manner
    • Prepare all payrolls for approval(s)
    • Preparation and reconciliation of all monthly payroll tax payments ensuring payments and
    • correspondence are maintained with all authorities including HMRC
    • Responsible for monthly payroll journals
    • Accountable for P11D preparation
    • Preparation and reconciliation of the monthly pensions earnings file and final
    • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting, monthly/quarterly/annual
    • Support payroll year end audits in all regions
    • Use own initiative to resolve issues and to assist the team where possible
    • Proactively carry out payroll reconciliations and analysis
    • Support/manage payroll projects
    • Maintain confidentiality at all levels and protect payroll operations by keeping information
      confidential, adhering to GDPR regulations
    • Maintain, update and help create relevant Payroll policies and procedures
    • Cover for the Group Payroll Manager

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    The desirable skills for this role include:

    • Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and rules including PAYE/NIC and statutory
      payments, e.g. SSP, SMP, SHPP, OSPP. Auto enrolment
    • US payroll experience with an understanding of federal and state tax
    • EMEA payroll experience is ideal
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively,
    • succinctly and professionally at all levels; good command of English
    • Good numeracy skills
    • Experience of working to tight deadlines and the ability to handle competing demands for
    • Problem analysis and resolution
    • Intermediate excel skills,(Vlookups, Pivots) essential
    • Commitment to maintaining good standards within payroll
    • Experience of ADP payroll systems, iHCM and Workforce desirable
    • Ability to work well in a busy environment and to meet all deadlines
      Knowledge of payroll legislation and employment law
    • Pension knowledge
