The Economist Japan is looking for an Office Manager & Personal Assistant to Senior Vice President, Media Sales Asia Pacific. You will be reporting to the Senior Vice President.
This is a part-time role with around 24 work hours per week. Final work arrangement to be mutually agreed with the Company.
How you will contribute:
As Personal Assistant:
- Arrange travel, visas and accommodation
- Organize diaries and make appointments
- Deal with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
- Organize and ensure the manager is well prepared for meetings
- Help with revenue reports and financial administration
As Office Manager:
- Deal with external vendors, building maintenance office
- Monitor company petty cash
- Make sure every office-related invoice is paid on a timely basis
- Liaise with HR, IT, Accounts Payable, General Services and other departments in either Hong Kong or London
- Other miscellaneous tasks
The ideal skills for this role are:
- PC skills
- bilingual - English & Japanese
- excellent attention to details
- highly organized
