    We are recruiting an Intern to work in our Integrated Media Sales Team. The successful candidate will be based in Hong Kong and manage multiple work streams to support both the business across a range of initiatives.  

     

    We are recruiting a three-month intern based in Hong Kong. Please note we cannot sponsor training visas for interns so applicants must be legally allowed to work in Hong Kong.

    Accountabilities

    How you will contribute: 

     

    Coordinate outreach among our sales teams and senior executives to prospective clients for integrated media solutions by The Economist Group

     

    KEY TASK:-

    1) Contents Solution and Events:

    Research and gather accurate data for sales prospects in Hong Kong. This includes internet based research, calling clients to get accurate data. Success KPIs being placed on the swiftness, accuracy and volume of data collected. Research global organizations to identify a list of companies that would be likely candidates to sponsor various Economist Events 

     

    • Draft emails and other communications to senior executives at prospective client organizations. 
    • Coordinate outreach communications and follow up between Economist senior executives to senior clients. 

     

    2) Provide day-to-day support for Media sales team

    • Assist with sales prospecting
    • Assist with powerpoint presentations for proposals
     

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    The ideal skills for this role are:  
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, including strong attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines
    • Proactive thinking and planning; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Creative problem solving, innate curiosity and tenacity to follow through
    • Desire to learn about marketing services
