We’re a fast-growing and ambitious charity that was set up by The Economist, a weekly magazine covering global news. Our mission is to tackle inequality by giving disadvantaged young people the skills to think for themselves about current affairs.
We have big plans to increase our impact by expanding our core programme, the Burnet News Club, and exploring new ways to spark important conversations about the news in schools. We are creating this new role as part of the next phase of the Foundation’s growth.
We are looking for someone with exceptional organisation and communication skills to play a key role in enabling the next stage of our growth. The Marketing and Administration Executive will help us to reach more schools, grow awareness of our work through social media engagement, and provide administrative support to ensure high-quality delivery of our projects as we scale up.
Hours: Full time. This will be a 12 month contract which we expect to renew annually
