    EIU Healthcare is the specialist research consulting division of the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). We offer specialized healthcare market tracking intelligence, complimented by strategic advisory services to help medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare service firms understand their current and potential markets, and implement pragmatic and innovative strategies to ultimately tap into new growth opportunities across the globe.

    We are looking for exceptional candidates to join us as Senior Analyst in our Singapore office. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work with global teams across Singapore, London, New York and Shanghai to deliver projects in the areas of market opportunity assessment, go-to-market strategy, customer insights, channel optimization strategy and competitive benchmarking.


    How you will contribute:

    • Work on project engagements within the healthcare industry across Asia Pacific, EMEA and Americas
    • Conduct desktop market research and analyse data to identify key findings
    • Create and lead quantitative or qualitative analysis to support client deliverables and business decisions
    • Liaise with clients in project kick-offs, updates and deliveries
    • Mentor and guide junior analysts, ensuring that they meet their performance goals 

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    The ideal skills for this role are

    • At least 3 years’ experience in market research and/or healthcare business consulting
    • Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA
    • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in healthcare industries such as Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Biotechnology.
    • Exceptional command of written and spoken English
    • Strong knowledge in MS Office especially Excel, Access and Powerpoint
    • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
    • Effective project management and time management skills
    • Strong ability to work in a fast paced team and be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
    • Attention to details and ability to consistently produce high quality reports
    • Keen interest in healthcare
