    This role is a key member of the Clearstate’s data analytics team that will support and contribute to the development and maintenance of our market data tracker in the medtech space. You will be involved in defining best practice analytical methodologies and framework in the building of granular and insightful market insights databases for our multi-national clients.

    Accountabilities

    In the role you would be expected to:

    • Act as the main analyst that provides data extraction, reporting and analysis from Clearstates procedural and surgical demand databases
    • Apply analytic and quantitative tools, modelling techniques, and data mining procedures to derive business insights, support business decisions for our clients
    • Perform computational checking and editing of data extraction worksheets
    • Trouble shoot, if required, on any issues arising with data-sets and processes
    • Work collaboratively and extensively with QC managers, panel managers and data visualisation analysts to review and verify that all data-sets are credible, logical and quality checked, and able to meet client’s expectations
    • Maintain and improve design of Clearstate’s active databases covering multiple product segments on an on-going basis
    • Create value for clients by understanding their needs and translating them into required and desired analytical services and reporting format, including managing required adaptations to data extractions, descriptives, modelling techniques and visualisation

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    To succeed in the role you must have:

    • A Bachelor degree preferably in mathematics, science, engineering or computer science with strong statistical skills and love for data
    • 5 years of experience in developing business reporting solutions, focusing on requirements gathering and effective communication of business insights
    • Experience in at least one of the following Data Visualisation Tools: MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView, Spotfire
    • Experience in at least one of the following areas: programming language such as SPSS, Python R or STATA MLwiN
    • Medical device or pharmaceutical industry knowledge desired

    You will be able to demonstrate:

    • Analytical thinking and effective time management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
