As the research and analysis division of the Economist Group, The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) helps leaders prepare for opportunity, empowering them to act with confidence when making strategic decisions. The EIU is the global standard in providing quality, actionable intelligence to the public and private sector, assessing issues that impact the marketplace for over two hundred countries.
The editor will commission annual reports on country-specific commercial regulations for the Country Commerce product, and will help deliver manuscripts for production to deadline and within agreed budgets.
The editor will also monitor international regulatory and risk developments in order to help develop future data-driven services on the subject of business regulations. About 40% of this job involves correspondent management with the remainder being mainly editing with occasional product development work.
The editor will report to the Managing Editor of the Country Commerce product.
