At EIU Healthcare, we believe that actionable strategy for our clients is built on the basis of market realities, where data insights and robust analytics drive informed decisions. To this end, we are looking to fill a managerial position who will help build, maintain and manage our panel of information/data sources which are comprised of healthcare professionals and medtech trade personnel.

Accountabilities

In the role you would be expected to:

 

Oversee panel building

  • Oversees and monitors the panel building process and activities with field partners/vendors to ensure that the profiles of panelist are aligned to our requirements
  • Plans out on a yearly basis together with Director, Data Insights & Analytics on new markets, specialists networks to build up new panels 
  • Produces challenging, but realistic timetables for action; ensuring that activity progresses while remaining robust in both legal and policy terms 

Develop panel management, maintenance & renewal

  • Develops and maintains an effective panel management strategy, including processes and tools, so that panel use is efficient and simple for analysts
  • Drives the development and execution of ongoing replenishment and targeted expansion efforts within each of EIU Healthcare's panels to ensure the panel's integrity, sustainability, and sufficiency for executing required research studies
  • Reports directly to Director, Data Insights & Analytics 
  • Supervises the provision of exceptional panelist support functions including timely and straightforward incentive fulfillment/redemption
  • Contributes to the establishment of consistent and effective standard practices and procedures that lead to the accurate fielding of projects, the delivery of reliable data, and an overall positive panelist experience

Implement panel engagement

  • Implements panel engagement activities to ensure continued panel health, panel replenishment and Setexpansion and panel engagement
  • Engages directly with selected Panelists on an ongoing basis to understand their views and maintain good relationships
  • Steers the development of an appropriate set of non-project based panelist activities that can effectively bolsters panelist engagement
  • Monitors the effectiveness and efficiency of the panelist compensation program, encouraging its ongoing development and innovation, and maintaining awareness of industry standard (and best) practices including awareness of incentive fulfillment programs at competing panels

Experience, skills and professional attributes

To succeed in the role you must have:

  • Degree in social/behavioral science, marketing research, or a related discipline
  • 5 years of research panel management experience, specifically panel operations in terms of building and maintaining panel integrity
  • Demonstrated experience across the research process including study design, sampling, questionnaire development, fielding (with first-hand experience managing data collection), data analysis, and reporting
  • SQL (preferably), experience in producing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access data models/tools for collection, analysis and reporting
  • Preferred (but not essential) in at least one of the following areas: programming language such as SPSS, Python R or STATA MLwiN
  • Pharmaceutical industry knowledge & previous experience desired but not essential
  • ISO 20252/26362 knowledge and advantage

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • High technical knowledge of applied research (both phone and online)
  • Leadership experience managing colleagues and teams that may or may not be direct reports and an ability to train and develop junior and experienced staff
