The Economist Intelligence Unit is a leading provider of country, industry and management analysis. As the research arm of The Economist Group, we deliver information that helps organisations to stay on top of market opportunities and risks around the world.
We are looking for a candidate that has experience gleaning insights from large datasets to drive product improvements and expansion for our Cities practice. The Data Scientist role will help deliver and expand two of the Economist Intelligence Unit's highest-profile city products, requiring the ability to manage data collected across over 1,000 cities. You must possess excellent track record of delivering data infrastructure improvements and product enhancements, along with a detailed experience of crowd sourcing and data mining techniques. You must be skilled in completing projects to deadlines and prioritising time and resources accordingly.
You will work within a wider team helping to maintain our economic data and models to contribute to the development of the Economist Intelligence Unit’s data products, specifically related to city level data.
