Currently, the Thought Leadership (TL) division of The Economist is offering exciting internship opportunities in Asia. TL interns function like entry-level staff members—they don’t make copies, fetch coffee or answer phones. Interns work closely with TL’s editors and have the opportunity to work on live projects and contribute to research reports that will help advance their careers. TL’s internship program is competitive; we look for interns that have a profound interest in journalism, research and/or technology. The interns time will split across a range of project topics ranging from technology and finance to healthcare and trade.

TL interns will work in one of our offices in Asia - Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
