TVC an Economist Group business and an industry leading creative content agency offers a wide range of services to a vast portfolio of consumer, sport, lifestyle and luxury clients. 


Currently, we are seeking an experienced Traffic / Studio Manager to join our busy team.


The Traffic / Studio Manager will be working within the Creative and Strategy team to manage all work through the department. The role involves liaising between the Creative and Strategy team and colleagues to ensure that projects are managed from brief through to delivery. 


The successful applicant will also be expected to develop and implement processes and systems to ensure all work is controlled throughout the entire process. The ideal candidate will be from a design or finished art background to allow them to help out with the output of the studio when necessary.


In this role you would be expected to:

  • Work with the Creative and Strategy team and wider agency teams to deliver excellent service to all colleagues by managing the workflow of the Creative and Strategy team and overseeing the delivery of creative projects and assets
  • Ensure the Creative and Strategy team works efficiently within the agreed process
  • Ensure colleagues understand and adhere to the process
  • Assist in decision making on processes and implement improvements to the existing traffic system
  • Work closely with the Creative Director, Head of Strategy and Head of Design to develop the best creative ideas and executions our clients.
  • Manage the in-house or outsourced creation of assets for a range of different channels (eg, artwork for online adverts, printed collateral, storyboards for videos)
  • Build and manage relationships with developers, printers, suppliers, freelancers and agencies to ensure production is always smooth
  • Work with internal and external clients to develop artwork in line with their requirements
  • Guide internal clients through the stages of proofing and final sign-off
  • Design to the final artwork stage a broad range of collateral, both print and digital

Experience, skills and professional attributes

To succeed in this role you must have:

  • An expertise in creative management, with in-depth knowledge of creating concepts, developing art direction
  • Experience as a Designer or Mac Operator / Finished Artist
  • Experience of managing digital, design and print production
  • Excellent diplomatic and communication skills
  • Agency and supplier management experience

To succeed in the role you must demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational and time keeping skills and able to prioritise within a busy studio environment
  • Project and budget management trafficking and work flow experience
  • Project management experience
  • Pro-active in your approach
