EuroFinance, an Economist Group business, is the leading global provider of conferences, training and research on cash management, treasury and risk. We provide a platform for treasurers and CFOs to exchange innovative strategies, best practice and expert opinion – either face-to-face or online.


Currently, EuroFinance is seeking an experienced Data Assistant who fully understands just how important data accuracy is to the overall success of the business.


The role will support the process of effectively turning data into insight, and insight into key business decisions.  This role will also have responsibility for supporting the development and monitoring of reporting tools that track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. This will include (but not limited to):

  • Comparisons to past performance
  • Measurement against KPIs – delegate revenue target, overall audience, corporate & issuer attendance, seniority of audience, geographic profile, retention & acquisition
  • Performance and conversion rate of each marketing channel – email, direct mail, telesales, website, PPC / digital advertising, social media


 In this role you would be expected to:

  • Maintain and develop the company’s CRM/marketing database - data entry, de-duplication and list-building/research
  • Work to KPIs set by the Marketing Data Analyst to ensure the health of the data
  • Extract, dedupe and prepare data for direct marketing campaigns to deadline
  • Work with third party data research companies to clean and research data
  • Support the Marketing Data Analyst with reporting and presentation of data trends
  • Train front-end users to use the database correctly - specifically monitoring duplication and incorrect/incomplete entries
  • Work with the Economist Group's business applications team during implementation of EBMS system upgrades, carrying out testing and monitoring/reporting progress/issues
